El Greco in Dessau

Ordered there for the first time today. It was definitely not the last time. The food was very, very tasty and the quantity was more than sufficient.

Again super delicious, unfortunately only at home ?‍♂️

You can currently order food here by phone and then pick it up at the agreed time. The food is brought to the door of the restaurant so that you do not have to enter it yourself or because you are not allowed to. It is still delicious and the aluminum boxes keep it warm for a while.

Best Greek in town

Fast delivery (just under 45 minutes), the food was super tasty and sufficient, on top of that we even had an ice-cold alcoholic refreshment on our order ☺️☺️☺️ the next order is guaranteed ?

We were here several times for different reasons in September and October 2020. The selection of dishes is large and varied, there is even an extra lunch menu. Everyone enjoyed it, the salad was fresh and crisp, the main dishes were hot. The staff is friendly and kind too. Tip: You can look at the menu at home to make a preliminary decision. Conclusion: we will be back and would recommend this restaurant to others.

The food was good, not our taste but good. Unfortunately the service is very bad. We ordered the sauce especially for our little one, but it was brought at the meal. So the little one had to wait 15 minutes for his meal with no excuses. After we ordered the food, nobody asked if we wanted to drink something, and nobody was seen. So we didn't drink anything for an hour. When we wanted to pay, there was no question whether we were satisfied ... Well, a shame. Definitely not recommended for people who are not from the area.

We always feel in good hands, in a pleasant atmosphere. A huge compliment to the kitchen and service ?Thank you very much, we would love to come back.

Nice restaurant, delicious food and reasonably priced. The chairs are not so comfortable, you should rather sit on the bench. We love to come back ... jamas

Too salty and they gave us bottles water which is over 4 euro when we asked for tap water

Famous Greek restaurant a lot of people visit this place, good critics but ... I was unlucky to experience this. No place for one person not even within 2 hours. While I saw a few empty spots no reservation on the table was visible. Can be possible they forgot but the way the waiter was telling me the situation was clear he didn’t feel to help me which I never experienced before for such type of restaurants they always find some solution to help out or to please a customer. Too bad but I can’t let this pass by sharing my comment. My score one star even that is too much. Grtz

Amazing food amazing atmosphere.

What a surprise! We were visiting Dessau and honestly we were not looking forward to an amazing dinner anywhere. Luckily we selected El Greco and our experience (my birthday, by the way) was quite impressive. - We got some free rounds of Houzo (always a good start) - The service is extremely friendly - The food is surprisingly good (for German standard): I got the fried squid, which was crunchy and smooth and the salmon, fresh and readily grilled - all the dishes are served with salad and a yummy sauce made of potato and fish eggs. Highly recommended!

Is a solid Greek, the food is delicious but not legendary. The staff is very friendly and fast.

Lovely place. It's too good to be the second best restaurant in Dessau according to Tripadvisor. If you're looking forward to spend 2 hours of train travel to visit The Bauhaus and get hungry this is the best place to go to and it's only a few minute walk. It's so cool that they put napkins with greek restaurant words ?. Must have atleast some german knowledge because the staff doesn't seem to speak any english but they're really nice never the less. I recommend the Souvlaki. That mythos beer is super tasty.
